Hi friends and family!

 

Just as an FYI, our wedding date also falls on the same day as UC Berkeley's campus-wide graduation so there will be increased cars on the road. Please plan accordingly and carpool with one another to ensure you have parking.

 

We will be reserving the parking lot at the Botanical Gardens as well as additional spaces at the Lawrence Hall of Science.

 

Please use these directions to get to the Botanical Gardens as street closure is expected:

 

From Concord, Walnut Creek area

 

• Take Hwy. 24 West (680 to 24 West).

• Take the Fish Ranch Road exit and turn right onto Fish Ranch Road. Go uphill until the first stop sign.

• Turn right at the stop sign (Grizzly Peak Boulevard) and go approximately 3 miles until the next stop sign.

• Turn left at the stop sign (Centennial Drive) and go downhill approximately 1/4 mile.  Pass Lawrence Hall of Science. The Garden parking lot entrance is on the right. 

 or, use the Directions from: 

From Oakland via Grizzly Peak Boulevard

 

• Take Claremont Avenue (behind the Claremont Hotel at the intersection of Claremont Avenue and Ashby Avenue) uphill to Grizzly Peak Blvd.

• Turn left at the stop sign (Grizzly Peak Boulevard) and go approximately 3 miles until the next stop sign.

• Turn left at the stop sign (Centennial Drive) and go downhill approximately 1/4 mile. Pass Lawrence Hall of Science. The Garden parking lot entrance is on the right.

 

From 880 North

 

• Take 880 North to 980 East Toward CA 24 to Walnut Creek

• Exit Claremont Avenue, continue to Claremont Avenue (NOT Claremont Blvd – stay right, you will see the white Claremont Hotel on your right) go all the way up Claremont Avenue. Road will be windy and you will come across bikers going up hill.

• Turn LEFT at the stop sign (Grizzly Peak Boulevard) and go approximately 3 miles until the next stop sign.

• Turn LEFT at the stop sign (Centennial Drive) and go downhill approximately 1/4 mile. Pass Lawrence Hall of Science. The parking lot to the Redwood Grove is on the right side. You will see balloons at the entrance of the parking lot.

 

From 580 West

• Take 580 West,  follow signs for Oakland/San Francisco

• Keep right at the fork to continue on CA-13 N/Warren Fwy, follow signs for California 13/Berkeley

• Turn RIGHT on Claremont Avenue, continue to Claremont Avenue (NOT Claremont Blvd – stay right, you will see the white Claremont Hotel on your right) go all the way up Claremont Avenue. Road will be windy and you will come across bikers going up hill.

• Turn LEFT at the stop sign (Grizzly Peak Boulevard) and go approximately 3 miles until the next stop sign.

• Turn LEFT at the stop sign (Centennial Drive) and go downhill approximately 1/4 mile. Pass Lawrence Hall of Science. The parking lot to the Redwood Grove is on the right side. You will see balloons at the entrance of the parking lot.

 

Please DO NOT TAKE Stadium/Rimway -- this street will be closed.

 

PARKING – Alternative parking is available at Lawrence Hall of Science (only 25 spaces available here – we strongly encourage you to carpool).

A shuttle will be available to transport you to the Botanical Gardens Redwood Grove from Lawrence Hall of Science. Last pick-up is at 2:15 P.M.

 

CEREMONY ATTIRE – Because the ceremony will take place in a redwood grove and is in fact, outdoors, please wear appropriate shoes and bring a jacket for your comfort.
